ASSESSMENT Advanced Engineering Solutions are specialists in asset management for the Pipeline industry. Following the pipeline condition assessment it may be necessary to replace or refurbish joint bolts, anchorage assemblies, support brackets, together with pipe coating and wrapping systems. Foot bridges associated with the pipe work may also require refurbishment. Each of these requirements can be met. THE NEED Visual inspection may suffice to identify remedial requirements on the pipe coating. The pipeline condition assessment process may also identify particular deficiencies in the pipe coating, which are leading to pipe wall corrosion. The painting and coating systems adopted by AESL are designed to provide a service life of between ten and thirty years, depending upon the system, environmental conditions and maintenance period. |
COATING SYSTEMS The coating process can include grit blasting, pipe wrapping and painting using two pack epoxy-coating systems. The Company is approved to apply Winn and Coales Denso Steelcoat 100, 400 and 700 systems.
AESL operates nationally using a fleet of fully equipment vans |

| PRE WORKS ACTIVITIES Pipeline refurbishment activities will commonly require agreement for appropriate access by the landowner, and may require specific issues to be addressed, when for example the pipe and associated structures are in close proximity to railway lines or motorways. In the proximity of rivers it is common for environment agency approvals to be required. AESL is well experienced in ensuring that these diverse requirements are met. |
